I took my bar exam at Semmelweis University in 2015 after which I worked both at several Budapest-based private practices and abroad too, treating a great number of adult and child-age patients with orthodontic problems.

I consider the timely start of the orthodontic treatment very important because prospective dental deviations can already be identified at a young age. By starting the treatment at right time, even a simple removable appliance may be enough to prevent future issues.

With adult patients, I try to communicate that braces are not just a necessary evil. I lay great emphasis on talking through the treatments, so the schedule and the options can be tailored to the patient’s needs. I spend my free time with my family and horse-riding is one of my favourite hobbies.

During my studies at the Semmelweis University in Budapest, I took part in several study trips abroad, and studied for a year in Paris. After that, I started to learn treatment outside the clinic in a private practice. After obtaining my diploma, I already took my part in patient care: in addition to Hungarian patients, I started treating English and French patients, mainly living in Budapest. I provide comprehensive dental care for foreign and Hungarian children and adults in a private practice.

Dr. Bögi Katalin graduated as a dentist from the Semmelweis University of Budapest in 1993 and passed her professional examinations in dental and oral diseases in 1995 allowing her to work independantly. She has committed herself to aesthetic and cosmetic aspects of dentistry since graduation. She is a member in the Hungarian Esthetic Dental Academy, the German Esthetic Dental Society (DGAZ) and the European Cosmetic Dental Association. She has been a member of YDW (Young Dentists Worldwide) since 1993. In 1994 she was the foundation member and until 1998 president of Hungarian Young Dentists' Association.

Since 2017, I have been working at the clinic as a dental assistant and clinical dental hygienist. In my work, I place great emphasis on creating a clean, organized, and calm environment, which not only enhances the effectiveness of treatments but also increases patients’ comfort. As a dental hygienist, prevention is at the heart of what I do. My goal is to develop personalized at-home oral care routines for each patient that contribute to maintaining long-term dental health. I work with both adults and children, and as a mother of two young children myself, I can easily connect with even the youngest patients. I approach my work with patience, empathy, and attention to detail, always striving for pain-free yet thorough treatments. My aim is for patients to place their trust in me and leave the clinic with positive experiences.
